Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 22, 2026
This policy explains what information VisiScan handles when you run a scan, request a report, create an account, or use the site.
Information we collect
- Scan details: the website URL, business information discovered during profiling, scan answers, competitor observations, citations, scores, and report data.
- Contact and account details: an email address when you request report delivery, plus account information handled through our authentication provider when you create an account.
- Payment details: payment and billing information is processed by Stripe. VisiScan does not receive or store your complete card number.
- Technical information: information needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service, such as request metadata and browser/device information.
How we use information
We use information to run scans, generate reports, deliver purchased reports by email, process payments, provide account features, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and respond to support requests. Scan answers and report data are used to provide the results you requested and may be retained so you can access those results later.
Service providers
VisiScan relies on selected infrastructure and service providers to operate the product, including hosting and databases, authentication, AI answer providers, Stripe for payments, and Mailgun for transactional email delivery. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to VisiScan.
Retention and choices
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet operational and legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by contacting VisiScan through the support channel provided in the product. You can also avoid report emails by not submitting an email address, although some paid delivery features require one.
Security and changes
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy as the service changes; the “Last updated” date identifies the current version.
